Actress Evelyn Sharma who shot to fame opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani turned philanthropist last year with starting her own foundation Seams for Dreams that uses fashion as a means to create awareness and give back to our country!

With two successful fundraising events, six fashion pop ups, three awareness campaigns, and more than 4000 clothes passing through SFD into the hands of people in need of appropriate clothing, the German Indian beauty with a golden heart has been featured for her outstanding work in charity on platforms like VOGUE, Times Of India, YourStory and received two achiever awards in the first year of operations.
Evelyn has never been one to sit on the fruit of her success but always moved forward and surprised us with new projects and ideas! That’s why the city’s fashionistas and Bollywood insiders are buzzing with excitement for her next fashion fundraiser, the 3rd Garage Sale in association with party hosts extraordinaire BUTTER Events, on 4th of October at Bandra’s chicest spot: Olive Bar & Kitchen, whose proceeds of all day sales will be shared with SFD!
The fashion philanthropist says: “There is nothing that makes me happier than bringing together people for a good cause! It my dream come true to see Bollywood, the fashion industry and Bombay’s socialites becoming so involved with Seams for Dreams!
