As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the country, several states in India are set to extend lockdown. However, with solidarity, care, and support we are going to get past the current times.
It is a crucial time for us at Seams For Dreams, as my team and I are trying to move our #SFDCovd19Relief campaign to the next stage. We would like to thank you for all the amazing support received from a lot of people who registered to provide clothes, bedsheets, towels, and blankets since the launch of our campaign.
We’ve received an abundance of calls and messages to schedule donation pick-ups from our SFD Truck. In the last month, we’ve received more than 35 boxes of appropriate clothing from all around Mumbai, following all the safety measures during our collection drive! And we’re excited to pick up more in the month of July!
We are gearing up for a busy month filled with outreach projects in collaboration with our amazing network of partner NGOs! Many of our allies are working at the forefront of this battlefield of the coronavirus epidemic handing out essentials like food, sanitization products, and fresh items of clothing to the under-resourced communities across Mumbai and across India and we’re excited to support them with the right kind of items thanks to your generous donations.
We’re also excited to distribute a new lot of our SFD Love Bundles in the month of July to young ladies requiring sanitary napkins and other personal hygiene products on an urgent basis.
